John played the Hawaii Theatre last night, and before the show took time for a lively chat about some of the huge stars he’s worked with and been around. There were priceless stories about hotel bar jams with Billy Joel and Joe Cocker; playing stadiums ‘down under’ with Elton John and on-the-plane sing-alongs; working with The Man In Black — Johnny Cash; early experiences with big names like Benny Goodman… it was pretty fun stuff.
